Britney Trieu

What's up! My name is Britney Trieu, and I am pumped to serve as a Connections Resident at the Well Community Church for the next 2 years in Austin, TX.

Last fall when The Well announced they were looking specifically for ethnic minorities and women to apply to their residency program, I thought that was oddly specific (because I sure am both of those things!). I just love that this church cares for raising people, like me, up in a ministry setting. Fast forward to now, by God’s grace, I left my corporate job to pursue residency in August!

Coming from a minority household of parents who are immigrants from Vietnam, and a family that still does not know Christ, God has stirred my heart to recognize a fundamental truth: that human beings deeply long for a sense of belonging and connection. That is no doubt. Throughout college specifically, that need for me (and many others) was met through deep connection to Christian community - but more importantly, through Christ Himself.

The need in Austin, specifically connecting people to/in the local church, is high! It fills me with absolute JOY to potentially play a part in connecting His image bearers to this local church for them to walk alongside community, love & serve the bride of Christ, and ultimately experience more and more of Jesus.

Over these next 2 years, I will be.. - Welcoming and connecting new guests to our church by following up and meeting with people :) - Connections Team support: training and scheduling the Connectors Team. Helping run Sundays! - Helping prepare and communicate during Covenant Community Class (partnership/membership), Covenant Renewal and Mid-year survey

In addition to prayer and connecting me with other folks, would you consider partnering with me in what God is doing at The Well? I am reliant on God to provide ministry team members who would give anywhere from $10/month to $300/month, or any amount you might feel called to. One-time gifts are also greatly appreciated!
