Austin & Elli Kloewer

In 2018, Elli returned from studying abroad in San Sebastián, Spain, with more than just memories of a beautiful coastal city—she came back with a deep conviction that this place needed more laborers for the gospel. Despite being a city of 185,000 people, with around 25,000 university students, there are very few people actively reaching this post-Christian campus with the gospel.

Both Austin and Elli personally experienced the power of sharing the gospel in college. As freshmen at the University of Iowa, they came to know Jesus as Lord through relationships built in Salt Company and Veritas Church. Now, God is calling them to go and share the same power of salvation through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection in San Sebastian.

Being sent from Veritas, their vision is to move with their family—Austin, Elli, and their daughters, Glory & Ivy—invest deeply in learning Spanish, and open their home to college students. They will also host Salt Company summer teams to help cast a wide net and pray that God fills their living room with students eager to know Jesus.
