Matt and Kristi Moore

For more than 25 years, Matt Moore has served in churches focused on reaching college students and young adults—first at the University of Michigan, then at Michigan State University, and finally at the University of Texas in Austin, where he and his family live. As a pastor and church planter, Matt has walked alongside emerging generations at some of the most dynamic university contexts in the country, helping them deepen their walk with Jesus and discover who God made them to be and what He’s called them to do.

Today, through Byway Coaching, Matt comes alongside pastors, leaders, and missionaries, and missionaries who often find themselves overwhelmed, stuck, or underfunded. Drawing from decades of front-line experience and a passion for healthy, sustainable leadership, he helps leaders clarify their next steps, regain focus, and walk their unique path with confidence and peace.
